Metro Detroit Wedding and Couples Photographers
You're on the hunt for that perfect photographer to capture your wedding day. Out of all of the options out there, it can become very overwhelming.
You deserve a photographer who gets you. One that provides what you want and gets who you are.
Communication, relationship, and authenticity are key components to what we do as photographers. It's not just about hiring a photographer to document your wedding day. It's about capturing those little details, those special moments that really is the joyful part of what we do.
We are here for YOU!
The most important thing to us is your happiness. This is why we work with each and every one of our clients to create the experience you want for your wedding photography. It is so important to us to offer a number of different packages and be open to new ideas and concepts when it comes to our business and our photography. We're an open book and we always have open communication between us and each of our couples.
There are two things that you need to consider above all else when decided on which photographer to book for your wedding day. Style and Budget. Without these two things decided, the search could leave you overwhelmed and disappointed.
Style is a very tricky thing. Sure there are standard terms that you may have heard thrown out "dark and moody" or "light and airy", but it goes beyond this. We consider our style to be true to life colors with some warm and dark elements to our images. This all goes into the editing style. However, there is a different part to deciding on what style you want. This is the way the photographer actually photographs. We have a shooting style combination of documentary and classic posing. What does this mean? During your wedding day, you will find us photographing all of the details and candid moments of your guests and you. This is the documentary style. This is where a story is told. You will also find us posing you to get those classic wedding shots. Overall, we want to tell a story of one of the biggest days of your life and also for you to love your images for a lifetime and beyond because your wedding photographs are the only part of your wedding that will outlive you.
Deciding on your budget can also be very tricky. Because money is reality, it is a very serious thing to think about before you do any research for available photographers. You don't want to bite off more than you can chew when it comes to paying for your photography because most photographers require that all payment is made before your wedding day. So, when deciding on a budget, also think about your timeline and see if you will be able to pay the total amount due before your wedding day. Ask yourself, "I have two months until my wedding day, can I pay $2800 in that time?". It may sound like I'm trying to talk you out of hiring us, but I'm not. I want you to seriously consider these things because it will save everyone the headaches and heartaches in the end. It goes both ways as well. Cost of services doesn't always equate to quality, but generally speaking, it can. Therefore, if you have a healthy budget to spend on a photographer, please, by all means, spend that budget on a quality photographer who knows what they are doing. Below, we have listed all of the services we provide and their starting prices. Please contact us to view our entire pricing guide.

Engagement, Bridal, and Anniversary Sessions - Start at $300 each
What is an Engagement Session? An engagement session is a portrait session for you, as a couple, to use to show off your engagement. However, it's far more than that. An engagement session is the perfect opportunity to take a break and spend time together. We do things a little different where we use a combination of traditional posing and the use of prompts to get the best interaction and the most natural expressions between our couples in order to get the perfect interaction in front of the camera. We've been told by couples that they had so much fun at their session that it just felt natural and it was a great moment to just spend time together. Engagement sessions are included in our top two packages.
What is a Bridal Session? A bridal session is a great way to take time to get the bridal portraits done when the bride is in their dress and in their accessories and their make-up and hair is done before the wedding date. Your wedding day is going to be packed full of activities and we don't always have a lot of time to focus on these types of portraits. So, therefore, we offer this opportunity to get beautiful portraits like this done at some point before your wedding day. We will keep these secret until after your wedding so that no others will see you in your wedding dress until after the wedding, but we will reveal them to you.We can also do both the bride and groom portraits for this session as well.
What is a One Year Anniversary Session? The anniversary session is very similar to the engagement session in how we build the session, but it will typically takes place one year after your wedding date. These sessions are a great way to celebrate your first year of marriage! This type of session doesn't even need to be for your first year, it can also apply to your 5th year, 10th year, 50th year, etc. We love to photograph couples and we love when couples use any excuse to document milestones in their lives.
What is a Day-After Session? A day-after session will look very similar to your engagement session or anniversary session. However, it takes place the day after your wedding day. If you aren't planning on jumping on an airplane to go to your honeymoon right after your wedding, you can hire us to take your portraits the day after your wedding. It's a great way to unwind from a long and chaotic day. Typically, we will go somewhere nearby your wedding, but this can take place anywhere.
